Tranmere story
David Jackson was an English inside forward whose playing career closely mirrored that of his twin brother, Peter. He began in the Football League with Wrexham and spent much of the 1950s with Bradford City.
Jackson later represented Tranmere Rovers and Halifax Town before playing non-league football for Frickley Colliery, Altrincham and Hyde United.
